Golf sensation Michelle Wie will be making her first trip to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in the Navistar LPGA Classic next week.

With a third-place finish at Samsung World Championship, Jiyai Shin maintained the lead in the Rolex Player of the Year race and significantly extended her lead in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year race. Should Shin win these two honors, it would be the first time a player claims both since Nancy Lopez did so in 1978. Jiyai Shin is edging out Cristie Kerr for Rolex Player of the Year race. Kerr also will be at the Navistar this year. The Rolex Player of the Year and Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year are both based on points systems, which awards players points based on how they finished in each official LPGA event.

Top 5 Players Coming to Navistar

The top five players on the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings are coming to the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by Monaco RV. These include: Lorena Ochoa; Jiyai Shin; Suzann Pettersen; Yani Tseng and Crisite Kerr.
