The Solheim Cup is coming back to the United States August 17 – 23, 2009, at the prestigious Rich Harvest Farms located just outside of Chicago in Sugar Grove, Ill. It will be the first staging of the event near a major metropolitan city such as Chicago, home of the headquarters of Navistar.

Rich Harvest Farms, located in Sugar Grove, Ill. is approximately 50 miles west of Chicago. The estate is host to many amateur, junior and charity events including USGA Qualifiers and Kids Golf Foundation of Illinois events such as the Bob Murphy Pro-Am and the Chrysler All-Star Shoot-Out. The 2009 Solheim Cup is the first professional event at the one-of-a-kind facility. Completed in 1999, by sole owner and course architect Jerry Rich, the course represents a true links-style
