The next Big Break season will offer the champion the opportunity to put their career on the fast track with an invitation to play in the 2008 Navistar LPGA Classic. Big Break Ka’anapali, which will premiere April 15 at 10 p.m. ET, is the ninth edition of the poplar GOLF CHANNEL series and will showcase the most talented female cast in series history.

In addition to the tournament exemption, the winner will have all entry fees to play on the 2009 Duramed FUTURES Tour waived, as well as an Adams Golf endorsement contract, which includes $10,000 cash. Finally, BMW will award the champion a Z4 Coupe, as well as an all expense paid trip to the BMW Manufacturing Plant in Spartanburg, S.C., where the Z4 is built. Once there, she will have the opportunity to tour BMW’s manufacturing facility and receive a full day of driving with a professional instructor at the BMW Performance Center.

Past Big Break champions have competed on some of the world’s top professional tours, such as the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, European Tour, Nationwide Tour and Canadian Tour. In 2008, former Big Break winner Tommy Gainey is a rookie on the PGA TOUR and five former female Big Breakers have been members of the LPGA Tour.

Big Break Ka’anapali marks the third time the Big Break series has featured an all-female cast, with the other two being Big Break III: Ladies Only and Big Break V: Hawaii

The series concept showcases highly skilled golfers competing against each other in a variety of challenges that test their physical skills and mental toughness, with the ultimate winner awarded her “Big Break,” a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete in select professional tournaments, and other career-building prizes.
